What is the insanity workout program

Before we get into the exact workouts in this regime, the insanity workout already sounds tough and challenging. The exact details and workout routines are not available unless you purchase the entire training. Every week you are given a different routine to follow with different workouts. Instead, you spend a week recovering. However, the recovery is not even your normal recovery in the insanity workout.

The insanity workout calls for core cardio and a balance routine during your week long break. The concept behind this is to prepare you for what is about to come because the next 60 days are even more insane.

This challenging cardio program utilizes a lot of high-impact exercises. It has an essence of aerobics and focuses a great deal on building strength. The insanity workout builds your core muscles, so get ready for rock-hard abs. The plyometric exercises will help you build powerful legs and glutes. You will also be working out your back and upper body. This regime greatly improves your cardiovascular fitness and helps you lose weight. Because it requires such a high amount of energy and strength, if you are just starting to get back into shape then this program might feel very daunting.

This program was designed for people who are already in shape or fit and what to go to the next level. There are two ways to measure your heart rate. The first is to simply buy a heart rate monitor. But I cannot give you an Insanity workout revciew without giving you an alternative way to do this without the heart rate monitor. This is actually the path I took. Its called RPE or better known as the rate of perceived exertion. You should be breathing very hard.

This will keep the guessing game simple. If you are in both of these zones then you are doing just fine! So either option is fine. In month 1 you will work out 6 days a week and experience 6 different workouts. The workouts are shorter in length and average around 40 minutes. Now its time to turn in up the heat! In month 2 its all about max intervals at the maximum intensity that will produce maximum results.

The workouts are extended and go into the 50 minute range! I can honestly say in this Insanity workout review that this was one of the best programs I ever did. I was amazed by my results and realized how much it improved my running as well. My pace was a mile and I set my own personal record with my time. This was all because of Insanity.

If you are looking for something that will challenge you and take you to that elite level then give this program a try. I would love to Coach you through it for free. I hope my Insanity workout review answered any questions that you may of have. She lost 17 pounds that time. But she had an illness and ended up gaining it all back.

But she didn't give up. When she became a grandmother, she realized it was time to get back into top shape. She went on to lose 45 pounds with Insanity the second time she did it. Sure, she had to repeat the program a few times to get to that lofty goal, but she made it.

Debra's persistence paid off, but a less intense program probably would have left her short of her weight-loss goal. He had always been in good shape. But he gained 25 pounds after a couple injuries left him unable to use his weights.

Then life happened. He had a child and started a landscaping business, all while working a full-time job. There was no time for exercise, and the stress of life allowed some bad eating habits to enter his life.

Insanity helped Tim lose those extra 25 pounds that he had gained. What's more, it got him into good enough shape that he was able to start competing in the Tough Mudder obstacle challenge! All it took was determination to change and two months of Insanity. Looking at Insanity workout results like these, and the many others online, proved to me that real people can spark real change with the mayhem that is Insanity. There really isn't anything this hardcore as of the present time.

If you go looking for an alternative, it's likely because you need something a little easier. That's OK. Insanity isn't for everyone. There are two other programs on Beachbody on Demand that are somewhat similar. Both are Shaun T. Check them out. This is also a day program that uses intense cardio to reduce fat and drop pounds.

It doesn't require any equipment either. The main differences here are the intensity and length of the workouts. They're all thirty minutes long and they focus more on cardio than they do on strength training. But what kind of results can you expect? You'll lose weight and slim down, just like you will with Insanity, but not as much. You can always repeat the program for no additional cost, but it will take longer. You'll also get a more defined physique, but again, don't expect the same results you would get from Insanity.

Asylum workouts are modeled after the ones that professional athletes and olympians do to stay in fighting shape. They run from 15 to 50 minutes long. You need some equipment as well. Resistance bands, an agility ladder and a speed rope are the bare essentials. The main claim of this program is weight loss. Obviously you'll lose fat and gain some awesome muscle tone, but the loss in pounds is the star here.

You may prefer Asylum if you just want to lose as much weight as possible over a short period of time. But, this program is pretty hard to come by these days.

Hard to find…. Insanity is a great program for people who are in good shape, are used to hard workouts and want to get into the best shape of their lives as quickly as possible. Getting into top shape means you have to go harder than ever, perform the most rigorous workouts and test yourself often to gauge your progress, Insanity pushes you like no other program and puts you through the test every two weeks until you've hit your goal.
